1. Subscribe to our email alerts. If you have not done so already it would help you to stay in touch if you click on the subscribe button on the left of the website. You will need to enter a valid email address and then click on the link you are sent to verify, in order to get the alerts active.
There are over 50 people who have done this, considerably less than used to be on our emailing list, so there must be some of you out there who are intertesed in Transition but have not yet signed up.
There are also 9 people who have done the first step of subscribing, but who have not become active ( you need to confirm or perhaps your email address wasn’t valid or current ).
If you are not receiving regular updates please try again. Let us know by email if you are having problems with this transitiontownclitheroe@googlemail.com
2. If you know of anyone who wants to stay in touch, but who does not have access to the internet then please let us know.We need to think of how to reach those people effectively and regularly.

Just to introduce myself – I’m Katy Holden and I’ve volunteered to act as secretary for Transition Town Clitheroe, as Charlie is stepping down to go off on his travels! I’ve been joining in with the Transition Town group for over a year now and fully support all the activities they are involved in. I’m also active member of the Clitheroe Fairtrade Group and feel that the two have a lot of things in common – basically that we all want the world to be a better place to live in.
I’m in the process of getting up to speed with the new website, but hopefully I will be a help to the core group and take on some of the work load of communicating information etc. I may not be able to attend all the events planned for the future, but will be in the background keeping my eye on what is going on.
Looking forward to meeting you.
Katy. x
