We are part of a wider Transition Network and support other similar initiatives such as Incredible Edible initiatives in Todmorden and other communities.

We aim to be a support network for individuals, organisations and businesses in Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley that want to create a more resilient, happy and thriving community.

Here are some questions we strive to answer:

What will life be like without cheap oil and we have to adapt to global warming?

For all those aspects of life that this community needs in order to sustain itself and thrive,

 how do we drastically reduce carbon emissions (to mitigate the effects of Climate Change)

 and how do we significantly increase resilience (to mitigate the effects of Peak Oil)
