Clitheroe Food Festival
TTC has not been invited to participate in the Clitheroe Foodie Fest, but we would like to be around to discuss issues of local food growing, globalisation, food miles, local economies etc with people who are interested in food, so we plan to be at the event on Saturday, to engage in people in conversation. Some of us will be in the Swan courtyard along with the Fair Trade stall, if you would like to join us on Saturday 4th August. All welcome

We were invited by Julie Whalley to be part of the food festival, and Ron went to an initial meeting in 2011, however, we did not have the people and resources at the time to take part in this.

Sorry, if people do not communicate (at meetings/ via the website/ emails) we have no way of knowing this. it just shows the importance of communication! Kate

Only just seen this. Thank you for reminding your organisation Charlie of my previous invitation. The event is open to participation for any organisation in the Ribble Valley connected with food in some way, to participate in, all you have to do is ask. It is a community event. As a lone individual orgaising the event with some logistics and accounting back up from RVBC, I cannot keep up with everyone!! Hope things are going well. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comment Julie! I attended the herb walk myself, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Many thanks for organising, and I am sure I will be in touch with the herbalist again.
Best,
Charlie
